Law & Disorder (Jan. 3, 2011) – Kingston Daily Freeman

The following items are based on information provided by officials in law enforcement and the criminal justice system.

TOWN OF KINGSTON

• DWI: Philip W. Hathaway, 46, of Olivebridge was arrested Saturday at 1:18 p.m. by state police at Ulster and charged with two counts of misdemeanor drunken driving and three motor vehicle infractions. He was issued tickets to appear in Kingston Town Court.

CAIRO

• DWI: Patricia A. Trippiedi, 53, of Surprise was arrested Saturday at 11:30 p.m. by state police at Catskill and charged with misdemeanor drunken driving and misdemeanor aggravated drunken driving. She was held by police pending further proceedings.

CATSKILL

• Criminal mischief: Dinah L. Erhing, 43, of Saugerties was arrested Saturday at 8:45 p.m. by state police at Catskill and charged with misdemeanor criminal mischief. She was issued a ticket to appear in Ulster County Court.

DURHAM

• DWI: Margaret M. Bame, 42, of Earlton was arrested Sunday at 3:25 a.m. by state police at Coxsackie and charged with two counts of misdemeanor drunken driving. She was released to a third party with tickets to appear in Durham Town Court.

• Assault: Sonya A. Silvia, 20, of East Durham was arrested Saturday at 8 p.m. by state police at Greenville and charged with misdemeanor assault. She was issued a ticket to appear in Durham Town Court.

ELLENVILLE

• DWI: John A. Wilson, 33, of Ellenville was arrested Saturday at 4:10 a.m. by state police at Wawarsing and charged with felony aggravated drunken driving with a child; misdemeanor aggravated drunken driving; misdemeanor drunken driving and misdemeanor endangering the welfare of a child. He was issued tickets to appear in Ellenville Village Court.

GERMANTOWN

• Criminal mischief: Michael E. Smith, 34, of Germantown was arrested Saturday at 8 p.m. by state police at claverack and charged with misdemeanor criminal mischief preventing emergency call. He was issued a ticket to appear in Germantown Town Court.

LLOYD

• DWI: Brian J. Secovnie, 54, of Taos. N.M. was arrested Saturday at 11:29 p.m. by state police at Highland and charged with felony aggravated drunken driving with a child; misdemeanor driving while ability impaired by combined drugs/alcohol; aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle; misdemeanor endangering the welfare of a child and violation possession of marijuana. No further information was available.

SAUGERTIES

• DWI: Gabriel H. Robinson, 25, of 39B East Bridge St., Saugerties was arrested Dec. 31 at 4:15 a.m. by town of Saugerties police and charged with misdemeanor drunken driving and misdemeanor aggravated drunken driving. Police said patrols responded to Glasco Turnpike for a report of an accident. They said upon arrival patrols located Robinson, who said he had been in an accident in the town of Ulster. Police said, upon further investigation, Robinson was found to be highly intoxicated with a blood alcohol level of .22%, almost triple the legal limit. He was issued tickets to appear in Saugerties Town Court. Ulster County Sheriff’s deputies helped at the scene.

TOWN OF ULSTER

Shoplifting: Kristina K. Rasczka, 60, of 80 Hack Dr., Arkville was arrested Saturday by town of Ulster police and charged with misdemeanor petit larceny (shoplifting). Police said patrol units responded to Walmart after being told by store security that she was being detained after leaving the store without paying for $16.85 worth of lipstick. She was issued a ticket to appear in Ulster Town Court.
